Admission Policy
Welcome to Columbia International Academy
Admissions are open for students from Play Group (PG) to Class XII, subject to the availability of seats and fulfillment of the school’s admission criteria. We welcome students who are eager to learn, grow, and become responsible members of society.
Eligibility for Admission
Students seeking admission must satisfy the age criteria prescribed by the school and submit all required documents. Admission to higher classes may also require an entrance assessment or interaction.
Required Documents
The following documents are required at the time of admission:
- Completed Admission Form
- Birth Certificate (Original & Photocopy)
- Aadhaar Card of the Student
- Aadhaar Card of Parents/Guardian
- Recent Passport Size Photographs (Student & Parents)
- Previous School Report Card (if applicable)
- Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous school (where applicable)
- Character Certificate (if applicable)
- Address Proof
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Medical Record / Vaccination Card (if required)
Admission Procedure
- Collect or download the Admission Form.
- Submit the completed form with the required documents.
- Attend the interaction or entrance assessment (where applicable).
- Verification of documents by the Admission Office.
- Deposit the prescribed admission and registration fees.
- Receive the Admission Confirmation and Student ID.
Admission Rules
- Admission is granted strictly on merit, eligibility, and seat availability.
- The Principal reserves the right to accept or reject any admission application without assigning any reason.
- Incorrect or false information may lead to cancellation of admission.
- Admission fee, registration fee, and other charges are non-refundable once the admission is confirmed.
- Students must follow all school rules and regulations after admission.
Withdrawal Policy
Parents wishing to withdraw their child from the school are requested to follow the procedures mentioned below.
Withdrawal Procedure
- A written application for withdrawal must be submitted to the Principal by the parent or legal guardian.
- The application should clearly mention the reason for withdrawal.
- All school dues, transport fees, library books, identity cards, and other school property must be cleared before leaving the school.
- The Transfer Certificate (TC) will be issued only after obtaining clearance from all concerned departments.
Transfer Certificate (TC)
A Transfer Certificate will be issued only after:
- Full payment of all outstanding fees.
- Return of library books, school property, and identity card.
- Completion of all school clearance formalities.
- Submission of a written request by the parent/guardian.
Re-Admission Policy
A student whose name has been struck off the school rolls due to prolonged absence, non-payment of fees, or disciplinary reasons may be considered for re-admission only with the approval of the Principal and after payment of the prescribed re-admission charges, subject to seat availability.
Important Notes
- Admission Fee, Registration Fee, and other charges are non-refundable.
- The school reserves the right to revise the admission procedure and fee structure without prior notice.
- Parents are advised to carefully read all school rules before seeking admission.
- The decision of the Principal and School Management shall be final in all matters relating to admission and withdrawal.
